Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies


  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup agave or maple syrup (sugar works too)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease baking 9x9 inch (17x17 cm) pan.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients together thoroughly until completely smooth.

Step 3

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until cake is almost set but the center wobbles slightly. (The brownie should be moist on the inside but not raw.)

Step 4

Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan.

Step 5

When it is completely cooked, cut into squares and enjoy.
