Firecracker Sauce

For Tofu and/or Vegetables

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce

4 tablespoons Earth Balance Buttery sticks (vegan)

1 teaspoon Vegan Worcestershire Sauce

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 ½ tablespoons apple cider

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes



  1. In a small saucepan add brown sugar, Frank’s Red-Hot Sauce, and butter.
  2. Heat over medium heat and stir until butter is melted and the brown sugar dissolves.
  3. Take pan off the heat, add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, apple cider, salt, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add to vegetables and/or tofu and serve immediately.
