Plantains with Sour Cream

(Platanos con crema)

4 Plantain (ripe)

16 ounces of Wayfair dairy free sour cream

Fresh strawberries

Maple Syrup

Pecans (optional)

Carob Chips (optional)

Vegetable or Coconut Oil



  1.  Cut plantains in 3 or 4 pieces. 
  2. Slice plantain pieces and fry them slightly on both sides in vegetable or coconut oil.
  3. Wash and chop strawberries into small pieces.  (You can also use peaches, blueberries, raspberries, etc. instead).
  4. Place fried plantain in a small bowl with sour cream, strawberries, nuts of your choice, carob or chocolate chips and maple syrup.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
  6. Enjoy!
